OK, here we go.  First off a big congratualations to the PITABOY for getting his black/blue belt which is recommended phase 3 for black belt, which is his next belt.  So after almost 3 years he’ll be a 1st degree black belt!!!  Way to go my boy!

Second, after procrastinating long enough I finally finished the living room and dining room wood floors.  There are parts that I really don’t like such as I rushed laying down some of the wood so it bows because I didn’t put in spacers to close that gap.  The side against the garage is not straight so the wood had to be cut on an angle.  I got frustrated and didn’t put a gap between the wood and the base board but no worries.  I found this neat little tool rotozip which has an attachment that will allow me to trim the wood so I have my gap.  Not ideal but better than wasting wood from having to make too many cuts.  Also as hard as I tried for some reason couldn’t cut a straight line to save my life so I ended up buying a Mitre saw.  Now I’m back to procrastinating but I’ll get the kitchen and kids rooms done soon.  I have to scrape up the paint in the hallways and probably the kids rooms.  Blah…that takes the longest.

Third, I guess everyone has heard about the wanna be little wind storm that came through Central Florida.  I loved the rain because it watered my grass for free but man it rained and rained, I’m sick of it.  Fortunately no problems where we live unlike some folks I know where there streets were flooded.

And probably the biggest news of all.  The PITAGIRL finally lost her two front teeth!  I have pictures that I need to pull off the picture and post but right now I can’t find my desk in the office because it’s full of my crap all over it.  Sigh…I swear I’m a hypocrite, tell the kids to clean their rooms yet I can’t keep my little office clean.
