Sort of,  I’ve mostly been busy playing Bad Company on the xbox360.  I’m sure Teal doesn’t understand why I like to play things like this, I guess it’s the need to totally destroy things and/or someone.  There are some issues with the game that frustrates me, much like the games on PC.  But hopefully they’ll fix that.

Other news is that I started laying out the wood floors.  It’s coming out alright but I need to slow down a bit.  There are a couple of places where I forgot to put in the spacers because the floor is uneven, so the boards bow a bit.  At least they are not in high traffic areas so I’ll be a bit more careful as I finish the living room and dining room.  From there I’m going to roll right into the kitchen which should be easier cause of the linoleum floor that’s already down.  Advice I’ve gotten from a lot of people is to lay right over it as it provides a very good moisture barrier.  So at least I’m not having to scrape paint off the floor.

Other news is that both Teal and the pitagirl earned their yellow belts in July.  Congrats to both my girls!  Next up is the pitaboy who will go for his black/blue belt at the Black Belt Extravaganza.  Good luck my boy!
