Well this month has seen many new and exciting things. First off the pitaboy got his black/red belt which is phase 1 towards his black belt. He participated in a blackbelt extravaganza in Kissimmee which was very exciting for him as he got to see a lot of blackbelts and how serious they were. He’s more focus now than before. Tomorrow he’s participating in another weapons class, this time it will be nunchucks and he can’t wait, I’ll post pictures hopefully soon.

Now Teal is extremely excited about her new wood floors that finally came in. She did a wonderful job in selecting a color and will look nice. They’ve finally been sitting in the house for over a week so hopefully I can start laying them down soon. I’m starting in the front of the house and will work my way back so it was exciting to remove the carpet out of the living room and dining room area. Well of course having new floors means she needs to have new furniture so we gave our old wrap around couch to her sister and bought a new couch, loveseat, and recliner. Her papa should be proud of her as she opted not to buy the coffee table and end tables as she wanted to use her papa’s, the ones he made just for her. I was kind of worried about the color being nutmeg but after the furniture was delivered and I had a chance to match it up against the new floors and it will look good. So I guess I should get started.

The other big news is that I resigned my position with Nuvox (formerly FDN Communications) , marking today as my last day. It was sad to have to say good bye to many good people there but I’m sure they will do just fine without me. I’m looking to start a new with Brighthouse Networks, I’ve heard so many great things about them that I’m looking forward to Monday.
